A repair center may reset the phone or replace hardware that stores the eSIM. Before handing over the device, protect your personal data and preserve enough plan information for EasyTripGo to investigate if the profile disappears.
Back up your personal data
Use the phone manufacturer's official backup method for photos, contacts and apps. A device backup is useful, but it should not be treated as a guaranteed eSIM backup. Keep the EasyTripGo delivery email separately.
Record the eSIM details
Save the order number, destination, phone model and ICCID. Take screenshots of the profile name and current status without exposing the QR code publicly. Follow what to send eSIM support.
Ask what the repair will involve
Confirm whether the shop expects a factory reset, logic-board replacement or complete device exchange. A screen or battery repair may leave the profile intact, while a reset or board change can remove access. Do not delete the eSIM unless the repair process requires it.
Check the phone immediately after repair
Open the SIM manager before leaving the repair center and confirm whether EasyTripGo is listed. If it is present but has no internet, use the installed-but-no-internet guide. If it is missing, do not repeatedly scan; review the deleted eSIM recovery steps.
If you still need help, contact EasyTripGo Support or message us on WhatsApp. Please include your order number, destination, phone model and screenshots of the relevant settings.
