A France eSIM is easiest to use when compatibility, installation and data-line settings are checked before departure. Keep the QR code private, use reliable Wi-Fi and do not delete the profile during troubleshooting.
What should you check before installation?
Confirm that the exact phone model and regional version support eSIM and that the device is carrier-unlocked. Company-managed phones may restrict adding a mobile plan. Open the QR code on another screen, charge the phone and follow the delivery email for the installation deadline. The EasyTripGo France product lists 90-day eSIM validity.

How do you install and connect?
On iPhone, open Settings, then Cellular or Mobile Data, choose Add eSIM and scan the QR code. On Android, look under SIM Manager, Connections or Network & internet for Add eSIM or Download a SIM. Label the profile “EasyTripGo France.” After arrival, enable it, select it for mobile data and follow the email instructions for Data Roaming or APN settings.
The plan can connect through Orange, Bouygues or SFR where available. Automatic network selection is the best first choice. Read the France coverage guide before rural or mountain travel.
How does hotspot work?
The product supports hotspot on compatible devices. On iPhone, open Personal Hotspot; on Android, search for Hotspot or Tethering. Protect it with a strong password and disable laptop updates, cloud backup and photo synchronization. The Unlimited option normally provides 1GB of high-speed data daily, then continued access at up to 5 Mbps, so shared devices can use the high-speed allowance quickly.
When keeping the home SIM active, check which line handles calls, messages and data. Receiving an authentication text may still work through the home number, but answering calls can trigger carrier charges. Review your carrier's rules and switch off automatic mobile-data switching so the phone does not change lines without notice.
Check the France seven-day data guide when estimating daily use.
What if mobile data does not work?
Turn Wi-Fi off temporarily, confirm the France eSIM is the selected data line, then toggle Airplane Mode for 30 seconds. Restart the phone and allow several minutes for registration. If instructed, try a supported network manually. Never delete the profile as the first fix or scan it on another phone.
