Four practical three-day options
| Plan | Price | Starting point for |
|---|---|---|
| 3GB / 3 Days | $2.68 | Maps, messaging, tickets and restrained social use |
| 5GB / 3 Days | $3.84 | More browsing, photo sharing and a safety margin |
| 10GB / 3 Days | $6.60 | Heavier or uneven use across the trip |
| Unlimited / 3 Days | $7.20 | Continued access after a daily high-speed threshold |
Estimate a real Kuala Lumpur day
Typical uses can include airport transport, ride-hailing, train directions, attraction tickets, restaurant searches and messaging. Video, automatic cloud backup and laptop tethering can change consumption quickly. Save tickets and hotel information offline so essential access does not compete with optional uploads.
| Assumed daily use | Three-day total | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| About 0.5GB | 1.5GB | 3GB leaves a useful buffer |
| About 1GB | 3GB | Compare 3GB with 5GB for extra room |
| About 2GB | 6GB | Compare 10GB with Unlimited |
| One upload-heavy day | Uneven | A larger fixed total may be more flexible |
These are planning examples, not measured consumption promises. App settings, media quality and background downloads affect actual use.
Fixed data or Daily Unlimited?
A fixed plan gives one allowance across the selected service period. Daily Unlimited provides 1GB high-speed each day, then unlimited data at up to 5Mbps until the daily reset. The reduced speed is a maximum, not a guarantee, and unused high-speed data should not be assumed to carry forward.
If you plan to tether a laptop, include that traffic in the same budget. Hotspot is supported but does not create an extra allowance. Pause large software updates and cloud sync before connecting another device.
Count from installation
The plan starts when you install the eSIM. Installing before a long flight consumes part of a three-day plan. You have 90 days after purchase to install, so buy in advance if convenient but wait until you are ready for the service clock to begin.
Coverage beyond central Kuala Lumpur
The product supports Digi, Maxis and Celcom. The active partner depends on the eSIM profile and local availability; it does not connect to all networks simultaneously. 5G is available where supported, with 4G/LTE used as applicable. Buildings, terrain, islands and rural routes can affect service.
If your three-day itinerary includes Penang, Langkawi or another destination, review the Malaysia coverage guide and save essential directions before travel.
Three-day checklist
- Confirm the exact device model supports eSIM and is unlocked.
- Choose the allowance from your actual app and hotspot habits.
- Count three days from installation—not hotel check-in.
- Keep the order email and QR code private and accessible.
- Test mobile data before leaving a reliable Wi-Fi connection.
Frequently asked questions
Is 3GB enough for three days?
It can suit light use, but a traveler uploading video or using a laptop may need more. Check your phone's recent data history.
Does the plan include calls?
No. It is data-only with no phone number or standard calls/SMS.
