Buying ahead and installing ahead are different decisions. You have 90 days from purchase to install; after installation, the shorter duration you selected begins. Check your expiry details and leave enough time for the final day you need data.
Get online after landing
Turn on the installed Qatar line and select it for mobile data. Follow the supplied instructions for data roaming and any APN configuration, then test a webpage with Wi-Fi disabled. Allow time for registration on a supported network. Do not copy settings from an unrelated eSIM.
